I've been less active lately as my mother has been most ill and my family and I have been taking turns for care for her.

I've been saving lots or articles on divorce and one interesting one was reporting less divorce now than several years ago. Although you my think this is an indication that divorce is not as prevalent, there are factors to be considered:

• couples are more likely to live together before they marry now

• marriage isn't something everyone MUST do in their life

• some couples may not be able to afford to divorce now with the pressures of paying for the basics of life
